Which radiator are you using? OEM or aftermarket?
12" will suffice for an OEM sized radiator. I'm using a 12" slim fan on my Civic radiator w/ no problems.

Sorry for the warp, but I need to know if I need to get different hoses on my H22 4th gen when doing the civic half-rad conversion. Can I just use the stock hoses already on my prelude, or do I need to buy aftermarket, etc?

Stock is fine, but if the radiator has smaller nipples, you'll have to get a Civic hose and cut little pieces of it off to go under the Prelude hose (just on the nipples).
