Default Quick question about DC Header

Does the DC Sport Header come with all the bolts and gaskets needed for installation? I also assume the 2 peice header comes with the flex downpipe section that connects to the cat. Am I right to assume this?

You reuse the stock bolts, it should come with a gasket, and yes it comes w/ a flex pipe that connects to the cat.

Thanks for the reply.. are they worth the $350? The stock bolts are pretty rusted, will get new ones then.

Is it CC or SS? $350 is not worth it.

Look around for a used one.

CC or SS? what does that stand for.. they are the 4-2-1 ceramic for the f22a. I have been looking and for the f22a there is basically the DC Sports or Pacestter.. I'd configure my own headers out of tin foil before putting pacesetter on..

CC = Ceramic Coated

SS = Stainless Steel

$350 is a rip off.

Like I've said, look around for a used one, it'll give you the same gain (not much anyway) for cheaper.

They DO NOT come with a new gasket for bolting to the head, you reuse your copper gasket.

What model is your car?? S, Si, VTEC???

I bought one for my H23 for $310 shipped to me for the CC. I later on sold it because I decided to go H22.

I think the DC header is good for H23 cars, especially if you are looking ot replace a rusted out header.

You should start your own topic. This has nothing to do with what this guy is asking about his dc header.

It looks like a header for the F22A engine costs more than say for an Si. That seems odd to me, i guess they are less in demand therefore cost more?? But $350 does seem alot to me but I have been looking for another brand even and I cant find much. Im sure I could get an Si header but i'd rather not hassle with getting it to bolt up right. Nice and easy is what im looking for..

get it used... it isnt worth paying $300 for a header that looks like stock. but thats IMO.

DC sports are not worth the money or the time of day to obtain. They do not flow any better than the stockheader.

They flow better but nothing compared to the other aftermarket headers out there.

Scratch the header idea - save your money - swap that f22a for an h22a - I started with an f22a - that swap was the best money I ever spent!

do they offer any type of weight savings?

...yeah I'm reaching here. But the JDM DC on my R was much much lighter than my OE manifold..

I do plan to do the H22A eventually, but for now the engine runs perfectly.. I just wanted to drive it until it died. The only reason im bothering with the header is because the downpipe rotted out and i have it ghetto rigged for now.. The stock pipes for the header and downpipe are $200 so i figured just get aftermarket for $100 more..I guess it's worth looking into tho for the swap..that will run me $3000 to have a shop do that right?
