Default Quick question

You know the hood holding rod dealie? On my 1995 Prelude S it came off, as in when we got it from the chick. She didn't know where it went, nor did her mechanic. Its got the white plastic thing on the end, but we're not sure exactly where to put it. Anyone got a pic or sumtim to help me? Like a guide or sumtin? Thanks!

it should be somewhere behind the driver side headlight either in the middle of the headlight or closer to the center

on my 93 it is right behind the passenger side head light, and it should snap into a hole pre drilled for it

Thanks guys. I'll have to wait till my dad gets home (he took the car w/o asking, lol) to try it out. Man he loves to drive that car, and who wouldn't? If I have any more trouble, I'll hit ya guys up.

How do I put it in so it can fold down? Does the white part go in, or the metal end?

It should fold down right next to the radiator.

You can see it somewhat in this pic.

The little plastic piece that snaps inside of the headlight area section of the radiator core support probalby broke. I know it broke on mine.

Look at part number 27.

You can order a new one here:

I replaced that plastic piece twice already. For some reason it doesn't seem to seat right. I just roll the metal support rod around so that in the horizontal position it lays fairly flat on the battery and radiator hose, otherwise it would put a dent in the hood when you close it.

yes. Look at the end where it connects. (end without the white plastic on it) There is no plastic there. You need part #27 on Gude's post.
