i would like to but the greddy sp2 for my 96 si, but they only make this exhasut for the VTEC version of my car. would this still fit? or could i just buy a new cat to solve the problem? thanks.

 

it will fit, you might need a new cati cant remember if the si's have different cats

 

I have yet to see a "VTEC" cat-back not fit on an S/Si chassis.

 

i think everything after the 4 piece of 4-2-1 (2-1 cat, s pipe , axle back) is the same? im not 100% on that though

i got an Si... but an H22 motor in ti. My VTEC catback fits

 

vtec catbacks will fit on SI's

i think ppl are mistaking some cat flanges are slightly smaller so you have to enlargen the holes just a tad...

 

The cat flanges are exactly the same!! I swap back and forth from my H23 cat to my H22 test pipe all the time with no issues on the hole size. And both exhausts are the same size, length, bends etc! Just love the Thermal compared to my old junker.
