pulley system

i heard that a good thing to do as far as a quick performance upgrade was to get a pulley kit....i have a 92 prelude and was wondering if anyone had a recomendation for a certain kind....

The Aem kit does not come with the crank shaft pulley. They UR does.

The real question is do you want to do the change yourself or do you plan to take it in and have someone else do it.

If you are doing it yourself the AEM kit will suffice and is a good choice with basic tools.

If you are paying someone to do it go with UR. The reason i say this is cause pulling the crank pulley is a bit@#. You have to have special tools and a lift and lower the engine some to actually get clearance to remove the oem crank. Unless you are pulling the engine for it, then you just need the tools no problem.

I personally would go with AEM just as a preference. I don't like to have all that billet under my hood. And its a brand i trust.

But its your car and your decision.

^the oem crank is not hard to remove, i have basic tools and changed my timing belt in my driveway.

i guess for some they have problems but taking off the crank pulley isn't that hard, pain in the butt yes, but very doable

Don't get OBX. The pulleys aren't the right width and cause the belts to rub.

Im looking at getting the UR kit for my 94 Si, heard lots of good about it.
