Pully Question
Ok i did search and there really was no definative answer... I was going to get the AEM pulley kit for my 5th gen. But i heard a lot of people saying they will wreck the bearings in your car and cause major unpleasent things to happen. But since the AEM kit dosent remove that vibrational dampener or replace the crank pulley should the AEM kit be safe to use over say the Unorthodox set that does replace the crank pulley? Any knowlege/ first hand exp would be amazing thanks.
AEM does not replace the crank pulley and does not give you much power...
UR pulley set replaces the crank, alt. and PS pulleys and gives you a good power gain...

They're larger diameter thus underdriving the alternator and PS. Meaning that the alternator and PS pump's shafts get less action from the pulley, it is a little lighter also. While the UR pulley is lightweight and puts less work for the spinning to happen.

Edit:^^^ I am slow, too....you got it first...
The AEM pulleys are larger and lighter, therefore the engine has push less to turn the pulleys. Larger pulleys make it easier to turn, but the accessory being turned goes slower=maybe dimmer lights...also called underdrive...

No joke, I know people who have had charging problems when using aem pulleys.

couldn't you just drill bigger holes in the stock pulleys and yield some results? if you did that to the crank would it unbalance it? if it worked, it'd obviously be a mucher cheaper option.

yeah exactly thus it can make more power it is known as reducing parasetic draw
if you are looking to rev faster go with a lightened flywheel
