Default Pros of Putting an H22A in an SH

I'm trying to figure out what the upside benefits of putting a JDM H22A into my 97 SH, I know about the horsepower bump, but will the atts have any downside effects on how the car handles or performs?

Which JDM H22A are you putting in the car? There are only 2 motors that will fit in an SH. The JDM H22a Type S and the USDM SH motor. This is assuming you want to keep the ATTS.

If you remove the ATTS completely the skies the limit on engine and transmission combinations. It all depends on your goals. Is it going to be a daily driver? Track? etc.

Please inform us a little more of what you plan on doing so, we can actually give you information that'll help. This has also been covered thousands of times so, do some research.

you cannot use decent engine management with atts since you cannot change your ecu so you cannot really do any engine modifications - if you buy JDM H22A with LSD transmission that would be much better because of that

H22A are the only closed deck Honda 4cyl I can think of from the factory, so that's cool.
