Default Problems!..

hey im wondering if anyone can tell me wat is wrong or could be wrong....well first of all like 3 weeks ago i was pulling out of a parking lot and my engine light came on and hasnt went off since...i got it checked and the computer comes up sayin its the emission control systemor somethin but the car has been running fine...recently tho when im at a stop light my rpms go to like 0.5 and keep going to 1 and then bak down..while this is happening the engine is shaking like its dying or struggling...let me know. thanks..btw my car is auto so mayb its the tranny? iono but i heard they dont last

With the car idling up and down, you might have a vacuum leak. Maybe even around the egr. How many miles you have?

well give us the exact code number. and someone will tell u.

but if its emissions related, ur looking at something like; O2 Sensor, Knock Sensor, Fuel/Oil sensors, Anything related to fuel and/or air.

How many miles are on the car? Whats the code number?

sometimes I get an o2 code when its really cold out (about 5 below freezing or so), but once it warms up it goes away again. My car has been doing that for about 2 yrs now. Might be your problem too.
