Default problem starting car

For a while not my car has been having an intermitent problem. First problem is that it will crank for 2-4 seconds before it starts. Normaly it would start in 1 sec. Second problem is that sometimes the car wont start at all. I have to keep trying it every 5-10 min or so. It eventually starts after a while. This only happens sometimes though.

you would need more info next time like mentioning that you have checked all the basic like cap and rotor, spark plugs and wires, and timing.

in that case you didnt check anything yet, i would check the cap and rotor first.

also what is the weather like...is it hot outside? humid? nasty like? cause alot of preludes have problems starting in the summer time because the wires like to go faulty on the main relay. Might wanna check that just replaced mine and hasnt happened since.

Sounds like the main relay problem to me. I would def look into it. It's located underneath the dash by the steering wheel.
