Octane booster at oil changes? What is that? That really doesn't make any sense.

ofcourse the higer grade fuel the better combustion you will get...better performance...i think its retarted not to spend a little bit more on gas...also octane booster at every oil change is a must on a high performance compact car like...ours
octane booster will not do anything...

i could explain what its for and why you would use it, but its not even worth my time

I run 114 octane at all times... so all of you can kiss my ***.

so, newbie... run 91-93 octane. Detonation on 89? Eh, that's debatable. But your car will thank you if you run the correct fuel.

dude, compression is toooooo high, must run 92/93 octane, otherwise you'll get spark knock! pay the extra penny, save the motor!

I think it's really stupid how people come to this board wanting to spend 180 on a cold air intake, 300 on a header and 500-700 on a cat back only to ask dumb questions like "hey, i know the manufacturer says that i need premium octane on my car and hey, i might even know that my h23 motor has 9.8:1 compression making the highest octane very useful in keeping detonation down but come on, do i really need to spend a few more cents per gallon to save my car?" n00bs

i wasnt asking because i cared about the money, i was just wondering if it mattered and if it would have done something to the car the past month that i have been using regular gas.....sorry were all not as cool and smart as you are...........
So what's the problem? Don't be cheap, and don't get smart with me newbie. maybe you should go be a member on SHO.

you dont have to be an ******* about it, all i did was ask a simple question about gas. I'm sure you didnt know the answer at one time until somebody told you
