i got a 92 honda prelude si and the car keeps idling up and down
been doing it for a while now went through 2 throttle bodies was workin fine for a month and then it went back to reviving i got one of my sensors changed and still no luck anybody had this problem before and wanna share the knowledge hit me back or anybody just know bout this **** hit me back

thanks.. thats a old pic too. just did sum work on it, and rite now its in the shop, gettin the clutch replaced...

**** i hope so to i just got the sp2 greddy exhaust system was already to put the thing on then this happened but i took tht **** to the dealership around my way hope they dont rape me in pricing

 

oo man, dealerships will bend u over... dont take it there ne more...lol. watch, they will try to tell u all this **** is wrong with ur car, wen really, more than half of it isnt... dont let em get u. they will try to tell u like u dont kno ne thin, and they kno it all...

 

lol yea my boy yold me tht but yo i took it to a mechanic and he aint know wht it was so my other boy was like it a honda it there car so tell them to checkit out. but wht if i tell them to do a dianosis on the car u think tht the problem will come up or nah

 

ya, they ll find it on a diagnosis but, ull pay for that... they are expensive... but b careful, dont let em convince u that hella other **** is wrong.. read up on the threads bout idle here in H-T. and wen u go to get ur car, if they tell u ne more is wrong, ull kno if it need to be replaced

 

oh iight but u got any idea wht tht **** is having a hard time finding anything on here

Yeah i had this problem like a month ago, its easy just take the senser off and put some gas in there and try to find something small to srub it with and that will fix problem, or use some thing stronger than gas, GL. I would never take car to dealer thay would rape you side ways, im glad i have 5 other brothers that are honda geeks :D
