my friend has a 92 prelude and its time for a new engine... what are the best engines for his car?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA HA, wow, that was good, sorry, yea, h22a specs are 200 hp @ 6500 and 162 ft-lbs torque @ 4500 i think

93-96 USDM h22a1: 190hp 158 ft lbs 10:0 to 1 comp ratio
92-95 JDM h22a: 197hp 163 ft lbs 10:6 to 1 compression....
now, the JDM is the cheapest way to go usually..its higher compression will allow you to gain more power from the bolt ons, also usually JDM mtoors have 30 to 40 thousand miles on them...you could also get an h23 motor..but why?????

well DUH..so he could do a H23 VTECH 2.2gHz conversion y0, that is tr00 jdm.

but really, h22a is gonna be your best bet.. make sure you get an obd1 setup as well. less conservative ecu, better hp gains out of modifications.

well of course he could do the h23 VTECH conversion but sometimes it doesnt come with call waiting, and it sure as hell won't have caller ID
