Default Power Steering problem

Just after doing the engine swap (h22a) and getting exhaust work done so I could actually hear whats going on in the car I noticed there is a weird whining sound when I rev up a little (idle or driving) and gets louder as I rev up to ~3k (i can't really hear it too well around ~4k). I pretty much figured its coming from the power steering pump. I also noticed my power steering fluid resevior is bubbling/foaming and leaking a little bit of fluid out of the cap if I had been driving for a little bit. I also hear my engine strain when I turn the wheel at slow speeds or in park. The same thing also happens with the brake pedal, but I think its because I have a 9.68 lb flywheel installed.

Anyhow, I used the power steering pump from the h22a because it looked to be in better condition (newer) than my old one, even though my old one worked fine as far as I could tell. I filled the resevior up between the min and max line when the engine power steering was cold. Its a little close to the max line, but not on it, so I was going to try to syphon some of the fluid out and see if its over filled. I also never plugged in my power steering pressure sensor because I simply can't find it (I can't find the plug on the harness, I can find the line where it plugs into though). I am going to keep searching and see if I can find it and plug it in. Do you think either of these will help or do you have any other ideas that I should try?

Also, I was looking in my helms and I saw steering gearbox which feeds fluid to the oil cooler, power steering speed sensor, resevior, and from pump. Could the fluid not be going to the oil cooler and getting really hot to the point where its bubbling/foaming in my resevior?

I'm going to also try replacing all the fluid incase the fluid is bad too. I got Gunk from AA, says its for Honda's...

Did you ever figure this out? I am having the same issue here and I replaced the Power Steering pump twice.
