History: Looking for my first car, found this on autotrader.com.. Bought it from a used car dealership for 3,100$ came with the wings west big mouth/rear lip and unknown side skirts. Everything was fitted badly and I am in the process of refitting the bodykit and repairing some damage done to the cross bar under the hood.
Motor: H23A1, Custom Made SRI w/ K&N Filter,
Exterior: Wings West Big Mouth Front, Wings West rear lip, Unknown side skirts.. Black paint.
Interior: Red and Black vinyl dash trim, carbon fiber shift ****, red and black apc racing pedals
Audio: JVC headunit, 2 6.5" rear pioneers, the rest is stock.
Future Plans: 75 shot of nitrous, aem cams, aem pully, dc headers, apexi n1 catback system, tenzo-r rims, rebuild engine, get car painted red, get leader seats. Hoping to hit over 200whp with nitrous.
Car is heavily underconstruction and the front end is sitting in pieces as I rewire the headlights/turning signals after someone did a SHITTY wiring job and left **** untucked and hanging around all frayed up.
It's not a Lude, but if it wasn't for my many years of owning a Prelude I would never have done this, besides I figure some of you might want to know what I've been up to. The list is fairly extensive that I compiled the other day in order to keep track of what I have done the car. It isn't as refined or handle like a prelude, but it's light & quick.

History: Well I was looking for a more reliable car to drive and I had a 92 Dodge Stealth ES manual and It tried to kill me a couple of times and I hated the thing. I was originally looking for a 98 240, but looked for a while and didn't find one so I was thinking of other cars and I remembered the prelude from when I was looking at cars when I was 16 , 18 at the time I got my prelude for graduation/christmas/birthday gift from the parents very grateful might I had. I was telling my mom about the prelude and she told me to call Honda and see if they had any, they didn't, but they knew the ford used car lot did and I got it from there. The town I live in isn't big so it was amazing it was here. I got it for 10,000 with taxes had 62,000 miles on it original miles and drove great and had all the papers on it. Yes it was Bone Stock.

History: Bought a 96 si automatic with "blown motor" - arrives at my house, i pull the old ish...find out the block is ok, sell h23 block. Then I spend my summer on and off doing various things to it such as doing the manual conversion, swapping the auto EL Guages for some from a manual VTEC. Remove various unnecessary things, yadda yadda, install apexi gt spec and caveman style ram a punch through the cat
. Buy H22a suspension drop (motor, harness, m2b4, subframe brakes and suspension) from Japan Direct Motorsports. (usedengine.com - great local seller
) Prep the h22 for the swap, all the seals, tensioner, belts, all the works. Also I put in an 8lb flywheel (fidanza) and a stg 1 CM clutch.....
August/Sept '04 - Drop it in and drive it stock (except the exhaust) for 3-4 months, then I picked up a greddy header with a 2.5" collector on it, and I had that welded up to some 2.5" piping then into the exhaust.
Oct '04 - Then I pick up a whale *****, put that on, and drive it like that for about 6 months.
Late Spring '05 - I pick up a set of ITR wheels, and a set of tein s tech springs for real cheap.
Sept '05 - I bought an s200 w/p72. I pick up a $1500 transmission and sell the m2b4, the new one is an m2f4 with a 4.71 final drive and an m2b4 lsd (came off jeremy lookofsky's racecar) Me and my friend marcus (ludebehavi0r) install it that night, and thoroughally enjoy it.
2 or 3 days later, a shiny little set of pipes arrives in the mail with an RMF badge on it. That goes on, more welding to get the exhaust to fit up, then me, jd3jdm, and my brother cgags13 all take a 3 hr ride down to RLZ and I tune. Results were: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1382288
Drive it like that for a long time, very satisfied, and around February '06, I decide to do the manual rack conversion and put the battery in the trunk.
Summer '06 - Pick up a 70mm STR throttle body, portmatch it to the plenum, and bolt her on.
Late Summer '06 - Sell the GT Spec exhaust, buy an electronic cutout, and a stock catback, and a WORKING CATALYTIC CONVERTER (yay for me, forget killing the environment w/my daily driver
)
September '06 - Sell the whale *****, and pick up a BPi flowstack and a 3" short ram.
Engine: JDM h22a, 3" ram w/ BPi flowstack, 70mm str tb, RMF header, electronic 2.5" cutout, CM stage 1 clutch, 8lb fidanza flywheel, needs to be tuned on new setup still
No ps, no egr, no cc, no windshield washer, no ac
ABS HAS GOT TO GO!!!!!!
Transmission: M2F4 Casing, Micropolished stock syncros, 4.71 final drive, m2b4 LSD.
Exterior: JDM sidemarkers, JDM Black housings, ITR wheels, Tein S Tech springs
Interior: an alpine head unit, boston acoustics 5.5 pro speakers in the back, cheap speakers in the doors, and 3x5 inch 180w 2way pioneers where the tweeters used to be.....razo 35g shift ****, itr shift boot, griptape on my pedals ftw
Future: First retune this engine setup, then cams and possibly a new intake manifold setup, basically want about 220whp with a nice curve. Then I'm replacing all the bushings, getting coilovers and camber adjusters, and corner weighting the car.

Car: 2001 Honda Prelude Base
History: Back in 2001 I graduated high school and my parents wanted to get me a new car for a graduation gift. At that time I was driving a 1997 Honda Accord EX automatic. We went to a local honda dealership here in Houston, TX. I didn't want my parents to spend a lot of money so I went looking over at the use car lot. They had a red EM1 for sale, I wanted that car so bad b/c it was an Si and it was the first year for the coupe. Well my dad thought differently and didn't want to get me the Si because it was a Civic. So we went next door to the new cars and looked around. That is when the Diamond White Pearl Prelude caught my dad eye. We sat down and talk pricing. Few hours later I was on the road with a new 4 miles Honda Prelude. After two years of owning the car, I got married and have a child. So had to sell the prelude to buy a family sedan. My cousing bought the Lude, and I ended up buying a 03 Toyota Corolla type S. Well the marriage only lasted a year and things went sour. Few months later I bought the car back from my cousin as he was buying a GSR. With my baby back in my hands I went ahead and modded the car with the following..
Engine: H22A4 with a slightly ported running REV valve train with stock cams and cam gears. DC sport 4-2-1 stainless steel headers, Apexi Dunk cat-back exhaust.
Off to the side I am building up a motor for turbo application. So far what I have done. H22A block w/AEBS sleeve, weisco 9.3 comp. ratio, 87mm bored (stock) manely rods. Awaiting parts and machine shop. Blitz intercooler rated for 700-800hp, Tial 38mm wastegate, HKS blow off valve, RC 450 injectors, Crane Cams ignition, turbonectics T3/T4e turbocharger and a H22 top mount turbo manifold (which is for sale b/c I want to retain A/C)
Transmission: F22 transmission, the H22 tranny gave out on me at the track. The F22 transmission is loved my a Competition Clutch twin disc. Trying to find another H22 tranny b/c the F22 sucks *****
Exterior: Grade B carbon fiber hood
, Greddy front lip, removal or the wording PRELUDE on the rear bumper. Wings West RS side skirts awaiting paint before putting on.
Interior: DC sport short shifter adapter, an Apexi VAFC mounted to the steering wheel column cover. For entertainment comes an indash moterized Alpine CVA-1003 screen connected to a exteranl DVD/MP3/CD/CDR/TV Tuner head unit. Sitting in the passenger seat down in the floor board lays the Apexi Power FC.
Suspension: Ground control coilovers opt with stock struts. Which is pair to a set of 17 inch Volk Racing GT-P in diamond plate with a polished lip.

Ride: 1992 Prelude S
History: Actually I used to own an 01 Acura Integra GS-R that I was paying to much for insurance for. Right around the time I was planning on selling it, February 2005, I spotted a friend of a friend who owned this 92 base model 5 speed completely stock. He said he only wanted $2,000 for it. So as soon as I sold the Integra, I bought the Prelude with complete plans to make this car mine. So I soon swapped in the JDM H22A (about a month after I bought it) and from there it was a few things here or there. All was fine til Dec 2005 when I wrecked it. From there I had to buy a JDM Nose cut and weld a new front end on. Then painted it and that’s how it stands today.

Name: Alan Peng (formerly known as apeng09 and silverlude15 but somehow account got deleted)
Car: 1992 Honda Prelude Si (salvaged)
History: Was looking for an integra gsr, but everyone and their mommas had one, so I got a prelude. Bought it with 240,000 miles. Right now the body has about 270,000 approximate miles (i'm pretty sure more though).
Engine:
H23A1 longblock with 140k miles on it (i'm guessing).
No mods to performance, converted from apexi n1 exhaust and warm air intake to stock because of being pulled over and ticketed for it in california( stupid cali)
Tranny blew out on the stock engine, picked up a tranny for 150 bucks, something like an F22A with long *** gear ratios.
Exedy clutch blew out because previous owner didnt resurface the flywheel, and clutch slipped a lot so i decided to change to oem honda flywheel, clutch, bearing while doing the hybrid engine tranny swap.
msd spark plug wires, a bunch of replaced oem stuff...
Exterior:
jdm headlights, jdm bumper lights, went back to oem taillights, shaved antennae covered up by a sticker, heavy *** si wheels with falken ziex 502's...sometimes i switch over to my polished se wheels with kumho ecstas...fresh silver paint, non painted lip and side skirts.

ugly blue interior with random black parts...

brakes:

axxis ultimate pads (not installed)
goodridge ss brake lines (not installed)
new front calipers, brake master cyl (not installed)
future plans:
put this pig on a diet. cf hood, cf sunroof plug, cf trunk, new superlight wheels (10 lbs or lower) Swap an H22A with a 2.5" kteller exhaust and rmf all motor header. possibly paint the car green.
That or get fed up with the car. I don't really like it all that much. But I've done so much with it, i might as well keep going and keep it as a weekend car or some fixxer upper. What I really want is a honda fit, or toyota yaris, something thats really worry free and new, because i'm in college, and working on this car takes up all my damn time. i really need to focus more on school.
