Default Possible to chip a P14 ecu for tuning? crome, uberdata, etc. H23a1 prelude

I have an H23a1. and would like to keep my secondary butterflies, IAB.
instead of getting the expensive P72 and chipping that,
is it possible to chip my p14 ecu and tune it with software such as crome?

I only hear people chipping p28 and p72. would like to know if anyone has chipped a p14 and got it to work successfully.

I searched but couldn't find my answer.

^i'm sure i don't think you can. you can probably chip your p14 but i'm sure you can't with a programmable ecu software.

i'm going out on a limb here, but i would say an SAFC might be the way to go if you are in bind for money. if not, you might as well jump the boat and get a p72 with __________.

No.

Just get a p06, pr4, p74, or p75 if you are non-vtec.

I am NonVtec, but i want to be able to keep my IAB. From what i thought only p14 and p72 has IAB..

not in a bind with money enough to settle for SAFC. Just wanted to be efficient and use what i already have.

am I able to control IAB with p06, pr4, p74, or p75 ?

Thanks

P72 is the only ecu that allows you to keep your iab's.

The p13 also controls IAB, but like the p14 is not tuneable with aftermarket software.

the p13 has the ability to tune fuel and ignition....i would imagine the p14 would be opened the same way as well with Crome. But a p06 or soemthign will offer a LOT more options.

Oh yeah ^. i saw that some people chip there P14's with aftermarket EPROMs such as JET. so i was confused. I've serached but just never saw anyone tune with a P14 and tuning software.

does that mean P14 can be chipped, but the free tunning software aren't able to create the .bin files for them?

the only real tuning software that can put a p13 to use, to my knowledge, is Neptune.

x2

I know hardly anything on ecu's... so someone correct me if I'm wrong.
But p72/74 are both Hondata compatible?
Just saying, there's another door that could be opened... (with switching ecu's and using Hondata...)
