Default pos

so my prelude sucks in the rain. it bogs out wen my vtec kicks in and wen im not boostin it still kinda bogs but only wen it rains? anyone got any suggestions for me becuz i have no idea wat the problem is

u have water in ur engine and u hit vtec? i dont get it.....

well you see, inside the VTEC solenoid there's a bunch of sensors that are very sensitive to conditions. when it rains, usually it makes the air passing through touchy. so to use VTEC in the rain makes it kinda overloaded. what you need to do is install a separate ground/power wire and a flux capacitator to keep it constant.

do a search for flux capacitator, there's a DIY for it.

as for boost, its probably because your turbo's too big. it's not meeting V-Tech at the time it should be, so when you're spooln up and VTEC engages its too much going on at once. the engine says **** you im gonna bog to hopefully eject the driver.

Do you have a cold air intake? My old H22A bogged out, as well as the stock H23A1, when water got on my air filter.
