Default Poly Motor Mount Inserts

I just purchased a set of Energy Suspension Motor Mount Inserts. The company was out of the black ones and only had red so I said to go ahead and send them. Under the description it said:

Unlike the RED bushings - the graphite serves to help self lubricate these bushings and keep them from squeaking!

Does this really matter for motor mount or will i have to lubricate them ?

I put some assembly lube on mine just to help avoid squeaks.

Its prolly not needed with motor mounts. They don't "move" like say sway bar bushings or other suspensions bushings.

But if you really want to lube them you can use any type of grease.

Nope. I've got the red ES motor mounts. Didn't use any lube when I installed them, and I've never heard a single squeak from them. Been installed about 2 years now.
