ok this happened twice now my car rolled down my driveway even though my ebrake was up does anyone know how to tighten the e-brake on a 5th gen lude? need help so it doesnt happen again asap

 

Why don't you put the car in 1st when you park your car on an incline? That's what I do usually along with the ebrake. Just don't forget it put it back in neutral before starting it up again or else you're likely to stall. hehe

 

That's what I do... leave it in gear when I park.

 

yeah leave it in gear as follows. front heading up hill put it in 1st if the nose is pointing downhill park it in reverse....

I would guess that it adjusts the same way as the 4th gens right behind the ebrake handle in the center console.

 

e-brake = handrake
why do you guys call it e-brake??

 

E-Brake=Emergency Brake
