Yep, there are 2 little bolts you can turn to tighten the engagement.

shouldn't rely on the e-brake to stop the car. Put your car in 1st if you're a manual and it shouldn't move.

I parked on a steep hill, with the car is 1st and the ebrake pulled, my car started rolling backwards, slowly. Didn't turn the wheel. Probably would have helped.

i try not to use just the ebreak but it tends to pop out of gear sometimes if im on a steap hill and my g/f apartment is right on a step street so its a must
