Please help with some advice. I just got a greddy kit for my 2000 Prelude SH and it is running fine, but just a little while ago my engine check light and ATTS light came on. Whats the deal? Does anyone have an SH with same problem? Please let me know cause looking at those lights are making me drive slow j/k.

 

Its most likely something to do with your map sensor. Check to see what code you are throwing

The reason Greddy diden't make a kit for the SH is because they couldent get the electronics to work with the SH ECU. Sorry dude. Check the code to see what it sayes and try and get it to duplicate the same code after resetting. The SH dosent do well with some turbos for some reason (some think its the sudden spool up of power) but the JRSC guys rarely have a problem unless they are running standalones.

 

IM turboludesh. He's turboed his before. Try taking out the ATTS fuse. It should disengage the atts, and you can still drive safely without it.

 

The lights may be a simple reason as well..

If you were launching really hard, often, and had lots of well spin. It may through a light. Also anytime ATTS comes on so does the malfunction indicator.

I remeber reading in the Helms manual that said wheelhop, or one wheel lifting off the ground could through the light, it kinda throughs the ATTS out of "alignment."

Check your codes first, then you'll know if your in trouble.

 

yea damn check valves are pieces of ****. get a missing link.. i was drivin my friends turbo del sol last night threw it down and the check valve flew off and ran like ****.. threw ligts and all.

 

This is a stupid question but whats a missing link and where do i get one.
