Default Pistons

Two of my rings aare shot in my 2000 prelude and i want to get type S pistons is there anything else that i will need to do other than maybe bearings?

Also does anyone know were i can get them cheap?

Hope you're planning on some form of fuel management... Type-S pistons are no joke man, and 13:1CR sucks for daily driving.

Yeah where did 13:1 come from? I thought it was around 11:1.

i put them in my car and you can feel the difference. They will fit right in your car you dont really need anything else unless you want to replace stuff while your in there.

Might need a hone job and the oversized version if you cylinders are fubarred. Might be the case since you said you rings went bad.

I'm retared, I just left a different thread where I was talking about Type-S in an H23 (Which is 13:1). Sorry sorry sorry, I was wrong. Mind was on the wrong track.

IIRC its not 13:1 anyway.

things i would get:
fresh hone
OS type S pistons
OEM rings
main seal
main bearings
rod bearings

since your gonna have to break down the motor to get to the pistons, those just make sense to me.

Type-S Pistons in an H23 isn't 13:1? What is it then?

Or you can use H22A7/A8 pistons, they are the same. (11:1CR)
