it would be stupid to buy one for you aplications. if you didn't already have the FPR thats what i would have recomended. the stock fuel pump will do just fine for the extra fuel that you need for your bolt ons

Won't hurt though, will it? I bring it up only because I believe the pump just died on my stock 4th gen Prelude, and a Walbro 190lph is alot cheaper than a OEM replacement. I know the oem FPR should be able to compensate for any bump in pressure, but isn't it also theoretically possible to overwhelm the FPR? Just thinking out loud.

just wondering what are the signs that your fuel pump is gone? One you cant hear it when starting your car? Sometimes my car starts and dies out. Wait a good 2-3 mins (longer the better) than start it up again and pray that it'll start. Sometimes takes 2-5 tries. IS it time for a new fuel pump or relay? Car is a 92. So its pretty old.

later i'm planning to see if the pump's getting proper voltage (battery V when ignition is at "ON", and if it does, my pump's dead. If it's not getting voltage then obviously I have a different issue....sounds reasonable enough right.
