Pad Recommendations
Hey guys looking to see what brake pads you guys are using. Good enough for drag/street. Have brembo blanks coming in. Going to go for stock rear end brake stuff just need help with the fronts. Was going to go with hawk hp plus but seeing its going to be about 200 something bucks for that might as well ask around and see if it's the best choice or if you guys found something new.

Re: Pad Recommendations
I use Hawk HP+ front and rear for pads, cheap blanks in the rear, and stoptech slotted up front. Works great at all speeds, even heavy braking from 150+ down to zero.
I originally was using blanks up front too, which worked great up to 130mph, but heavy braking above 130 was getting some decent fade. The stoptech slotted rotors cured the fade on those high speed runs.
Don't use stock pads in the rear if you get quality pads for the front. It'll throw the balance off, and won't perform as well as it could. make sure you run the same pads front and rear for the best performance and balance.

Re: Pad Recommendations
issues aren't the issue. Stopping power is the topic at hand. And I can assure you, Hawk HP+ pads have WAY more stopping power than autozone ceramics. Enough so that If I want I can lock up all 4 wheels at over 140mph while on track slicks that are up to temp, and don't even need to stand on the pedal to do it.
