Default p13 question

well i found this guy... he said he can chip my p13 and disable my knock sensor and o2 sensor...the reason for this is b/c after i replace my knocksensor i keep getting the code ;and my o2 wiring from the harness is jaked up. the only disadvantage if i do chip n mod my p13 would be that my car would guzzle more gas.. should i just proceed with the a chipped p28 or chip n mod my usdm p13?
one of the programs he told me about was A-GE (Custom) w/ IAB, spoon, or skunk 2...i forgot the other ones.... well bak to the point... should i just let him chip it out or trade plus cash for a working chipped p28....?

p.s i really need help on this, i dont know anything about ecu's

why not just try to fix the problem, and avoid wasting a lot of gas. Instead of jumping the gun and spending money on chippin your ecu and not have the check engine light on.
