I would NOT recommned a universal. I bought a 80 dollar replacement sensor from Autozone..and it died on me less than 5 months later. Pony up the money and get a genuine Honda sensor!!

I'm not spending 200.00 on a sensor.

Hey Bud, you dont have to be a dick about it. I'm not forking out for a HONDA O2. I'll by a Bosch before I go to the dealer. And I'll drive when I want too!

an O2 sensor is 1 piece I would never substitute with an aftermarket. It will go bad, throw CEL codes and contaminate your cat. They you will have to get a new cat too! Just buy one from a junkyard. I picked mine up for $25.

if there is no CEL now, there will be with an aftermarket O2. I'm not sayin' to buy it from a dealer, get it used for cheap. It is worth the wait to find one. The replacement I bought made my car run like isht.

Then how do you even know that you need a new 02 sensor?? Spray some knockerloose on that bad boy and let it sit. You can knock it off with an 02 socket or you can do what I did: Cut the plug off of the end, put a box end wrench on it and knock it loose!!

I went to Autozone and got a socket. soaked it with penatrate oil for an hour and ot would not budge. So I am getting a new one. Plus I don't know how old the one is that I can't get out. I guess I'll go to the ole faithful Honda parts yard.

i have a hook withing Denso that i get all mine from

but the bosch runs on the same basis as the factory one and works JUST as good.

the only reason you shoudl get a CEL is if you fucked it up or contaminated it before installation
