Oxygen sensor bad??
I have searched through over 15 pages of archived and recent topics of check engine lights and I have decided that my O2 sensor is bad. Please read on and correct me if I am wrong.
My car has had the CEL on for some time now, I have just recently began getting codes and trying to fix it. When I pulled the codes it said that I have misfires on all of my cylinders. I cleared those codes and they keep coming back. I replaced the spark plugs with Denso Iridiums, gapped the correctly, and they fouled out it 2 days. I have decided that my engine is running way too rich because my gas milage has also gone down the *******. When I combined all of those factors I decided that the O2 sensor has gone bad and that made my car run rich, which made the MPG's horrible and then fouled my plugs and in doing so made my car misfire.
Does that sound logical to you guys?? If so, how do I go about checking the O2 sensor to make sure that it is bad before I get a new one. Sorry about the long post, but this has been killing me for some time now. Any other ideas will be greatly appriciated. THANKS

misfires could be caused by using gasoline that does not meet the required octane rating for your engine. are you sure your using the recommended fuel? IE, vtec preludes require 93 octane rating.
ive kinda had the same problem i had headers installed and now im gettin a cel i checked it and it was my 02 sensor and im misfiring in all celenders im thinking about gettin a 02 simulator but im not sure
Im running the best fuel that I can without going into racing fuel territory. In my area 91, maybe 92 is the best that I can do for pump gas. It has always run fine before I got the ECU changed to the p13 (so I could pass with OBD2 smog). Thanks.
