Overheating problems!!! Please HELP
Alright guys....here's the deal....I have a 92 Prelude that I have been driving and tonight on the way over to my gf house it just started overheating. After letting the car cool down for a while, I went outside and checked over a few things. I first checked the coolant level and everything there was ok. Than I checked for any leaks and there were absolutly none to be found. After that I pulled all the spark plugs and checked to see if there was any coolant on them and there was none. Cyl 3 and 4 were a little wet, but there were no signs of a blown headgasket to be found. I did a compression check on the motor just to see if the headgasket could be blown and everything came out 200-210 across the board. After that I checked around the timing belt cover to see if there was any leaking from the water pump and I couldn't see any. So at this time I am a little perplexed as to what the issue could be. I am open to any suggestions.
Checked the hoses while the car is running and gave the car gas by pushing on throttle cable and saw no leaks. Checked the thermostat this morning and it's fine. Could it be the water pump?
Went ahead and replaced thermostat. Before doing so coolant levels were still fine. Changed it, refilled and bled system, and car is still overheating. Check all hoses for leaks and can not find a single one. This is confusing the hell out of me.

if you have high milage it is possible it could be the water pump. the impellars often rust away and just stop moving water through the block causing overheating. if you change that you may as well change the timing belt and put some skunk 2 racing cam gears in while your all up in the timing cover. other problems could be with the coolant temperature sensor. best way to find out is to put it on a scanner and run data streem. check the sensor output readings verse the dash reading make sure it is reading right. another possibility is a air pocket but bleeding should have cleered that up. make sure your fan shroud isnt cracked also cuz that can cause overheating. rust in the radiator also can cause flow problems and overheating. try flushing the sytem get all the garbage out to make sure there are no restrictions. a bad radiator cap seal can cause pressure loss and also result in poor coolant flow. if it was me i would just change the water pump thermostat cool temp sensor rad cap and flush the system. the parts arent that costly and probably need changing anyway. plus this would elimitate all flow problem possibilities.
