overheating
The car is overheating in lower speeds. When you drive it normal, the temp gauge is in its normal place.
Coolant level is OK, thermostat out (just to check if it was the problem- so big loop is now open all the time), both fans switch on, but can't lower the temp as usual, both rad pipes are hot.
Any ideas?

if both hoses are hot, id say its the radiator. And thats assuming theres nothing else wrong with the car. it could also be headgasket too. Make sure the coolant mixture is right. I run 70 water 30 antifreeze.

i vote coolant flush, refill and rebleed.
Drain everything out of your cooling system. Fill it up with straight water. Let it run for 10 mins with the heater on full blast. Wait till its cool enough to safely drain all of that, then refill with anitfreeze/water combo or water wetter whatever. then bleed it 3 or 4 times.

The coolant was replaced not so long time ago when I installed an engine block heater (couple months ago). There is no oil in coolant as I could see that today when we pulled the thermostat out. Oil is fresh (replaced today also), no deposits on the radiator cap. Everything seems to be OK, but **** is overheating :/
I'm going to put a new thermostat and replace the radiator (I have a spare JDM prelude) tomorrow and see what will happen.

Damn, as for now I noticed a puddle under the car in the mid-rear part of engine bay. Closer look: an in-pipe going to the head is cracked and there is a massive leak of coolant
I was not able to notice that before as it leaks only when the engine is on and when you stop it the coolant evaporates as it leaks down the hot engine.

It's the lowest pipe on the picture. It cracked at the head entry nipple. I have power taped it temporarily as in 2 days I'll get a new thermostat, so I fix it while thermostat replacing. I will simply cut the pipe after the crack.
It's a hose (heh I have just noticed the difference- in my langauge it's the same pipe and hose
). And your scenario is very probable as the hose is very very soft at its end. I think I must protect it somehow.

I would advise against that! Mine split right at the nipple too, so I just cut it off and clamped it back down. Well, later that day found me in AutoZone parking lot changing it out with a new section of heater hose. Because I had cut it off, obviously it was shorter, which put stress on it and the nipple sliced right through it. You'll scratch the crap out of your arm changing the other end of the hose off of the heater valve, but it's a lot better than spewing coolant everywhere!
Of course Honda didn't have one in stock, but 3/4inch heater hose will hold you till you can get the right one.

Oh, it's too late. I did it tonight. Before I had checked the hose for enough free play. I cut only inch or so. Not much.
I also put a new thermostat, replaced a dizzy seal, filled an engine with fresh coolant and bled it.
No leak, everything seemed to be OK.
Radiators went on three times, temparature was steady, so far so good. I closed the hood and tried to leave the garage, in 15 second the temperature gauge went to the max. WTF...
There was nothing I could do with it that time, so I drove home. Of course temperature was OK (2bars). I checked if VTEC is still in this engine alive and it didn't change the situation- everything was OK.
I tend to suspect my radiator to be clogged or so.
