over heating
i have a 92 prelude si, the other day while i was driving i noticed the temp gauge go past halfway, so i turned on the heat in the car and it immediately went back to half. so i get home and pop my hood to check for cracks in radiator hoses, etc. then i check the fuse box and the cooling fan relay is missing. so i grabbed an extra one i had laying around and put it in the correct spot. with the car off the fans immediately kick on. then i go and start the car and the fans turn off. then if i turn my car off. the fans turn right back on, and if unplg the fan switch by the upper radiator hose(the green connector) the fans will stop. fans will turn on when car is off but not when on, car still overheats occasionally and it sucks cuz i have to drive around with the heat on. any ideas??

Re: over heating (Hawkze_2.3)
ya i was assuming a fan switch, any way to verify that before i buy a new one, and the relay i replaced the missing one with was off my gsr. it was working at the time i pulled the motor.
