The powerband is from around 5k to 7k, but you will get the best times by shifting immediately before fuel cut.

And yes, this has been covered before.

shirt right before 8k when going from 1st to 2nd to keep it in vtec, after that you can **** around 7200 because you aren't going to make power after that and shifting at 7200 after 1st gear you can keep it in VTEC

take it to redline in each gear.

if you REALLY want to figure it out, dyno your car. the shift point is that which the Torque multiplied by the total gear ratio drops down to equal or below the torque multiplied by the next gear ratio at the RPM you will be at at that speed in that next gear.

OK I found some answers when I searched under "shiftpoint". BUT I forgot to mention that I have an h23 trans. Will this adversly affect my shifting or can I continue to shift as if I had an h22 trans??

h23 gears are longer. you will need to dyno your car. everyones shift points are different anyways, its just like asking where to set vtec. we can give you a ruff estimate, but nothing as good as actually spending the money to get your car dyno tuned.
