Default OK, things are a little slow

Just to hype up some conversation, tell us what your future mods are, and what you are working, going for...

No: I plan on installing my light up nozzles this weekend stuff

Me, I am really busy ordering and buying up stuff to get my car ready for the First Race at CMP in April (which I hope some of you guys come to watch)

Front Splitter/spoiler is shipped,
Have 4 shaved Kumho Ecsta V700s, 225/45/15 comming, and 2 Kumho v700 225/50/15 fulltread tires comming in case it rains
Dave is working hard on the SMSP header
Have a crank pulley to install
Must take old RS*R springs off and put skunk2 coilovers on until I can get a REAL suspension. ($$$$$$$)
Putting in ARP wheel studs...

This is just the tip of the iceberg

I have to finish my nitrous installation, reinstall the manifold to get rid of that nasty vaccuum leak, pick up a Jacob's nitrous mastermind and an MSD 6A, and get some dyno time to make sure that I'm running right. This summer I'm looking to pick up a VAFC, a nice spring/shock combo or some coilovers, and a camber kit. My goal is to get my 75 shot running right, have my A/F ratio perfected on and off of the bottle, finally buy a suspension, and pick up that wonderful SMS header that I have been hearing so much about by the end of this year.

I'm just looking to finish some mods, mostly bolt-ons and suspension, then have my car perfectly dyno tuned, with a wideband o2 this time. Then just focus on keeping it running 100% and looking good I'd also like to try track racing once this is done.

Well I just installed a Broadway mirror last week =P

Hmmm, well I've got some Carbotech Panther Plus' that I'll probably put on soon.

After that I'd like to get another set of wheels, then go OBD I. Probably be looking into the SMS header after that. Then it's all up in the air.

1) Remove turbo kit.

2) Sell car.

3) Get a new project.

Damn Corey, I didn't know you were changing all that stuff out. I just got the block back from Golden Eagle (90 mm, Can you say 2.4) I am ordering my Quaife, suspension, drag radials, slicks with rims, fuel line stuff, and the head is at Endyn. I should have my intake manifold (Golden Eagle) and radiator (C&R Racing) soon. I am thinking of taking the 2.5" exhaust and upgrading it to a 3". I have a buddy here with a TIG welder and I can order all the piping with the bends. I hope to have her running within the month. I have my fingers crossed. I will show dyno sheets and time slips as soon as I can get them.

Is that turbo kit for sale???

I'm putting in my new jdm h22a, hopefully the sms header cause I'll need a new header for my install, lightened flywheel, new clutch, and as soon as I get my tints, 17's, and 3- 6.5" subs I'll be finishing up on all my bolt ons. Damn that will be expensive...

It comes with everything listed on the setup page. Possibly a Clutchnet clutch and Apex'i boost gauge as well.

Default Re: OK, things are a little slow (D.specs)

I just dropped an H22A in on Sunday and I almost have it fully operational again. I tried to use the distributor guts from my F22A1 (external coil instead of internal) and everything is the same inside except for the distributor shaft itself, when the engine is at TDC cyl #1 , the distributor is pointing at the #2 cylinder. So I have to use the h22a distributor shaft, but the bearing feels like crap (rough) I will try to press the shaft apart to get the bearing replaced inside the H22A one. I may just soak it overnight in penetrating oil and then get some nice spray grease and see how it works after that.

I also picked up some Acura Legend calipers and VTEC 'lude sized rotors (11.1") for a little extra stop-o-rama. I bolted them up last night, but I haven't tried them yet because the motor swap isn't done. (no need to stop if you don't start! -lol)

well....

JE 9.5:1 stock bore with some special work done
Custom SS oversized valves
Full Port and Polish
Custom Cams with titanium retainers and triple valve springs
Benson sleeves
Eagle or crower rods
Balanced motor
custom turbo kit utilizing a special T66/T04 turbo
Studded wheels
Racing seat and harness
roll cage
5-speed conversion with an h23 tranny
racing wheels with some slicks
Accel DFI standalone
exedy organic clutch
mini-spool

That should be enough for low 10's and still be "street legal" depending on where you get your inspection done.

Well... My shizzle is ALL torn apart. Let me see... first I'm selling off my cams and getting a new head. Not going as wild with the flow as I did last time. Just some decent porting and polishing, some chamber work (smoothing and deburring), and having the valve seats cut to fit my valves again. Oh, and order 10 Ferrea valves that got destroyed the last time.

Then I have to hone the block (I'll get that done this week) and order some pistons. I had my mind settled on 9:1... but 10:1 just keeps coming up in my head. I think I'll probably suck it up and do the stock compression and then see what happens.

Of course I'll probably do a 100-150 shot till I get the gonads for a serious turbo kit. None of this piddly T3/T4 stuff... I still have visions of 400+ whp dancing in my head.

And you guys know the rest of my setup...

Oh yeah, at some point in time I'll need a damned transmission. What a pain in the ***....

As for where I'm getting my cash, I HAD a nice job. But now that it's gone, I'm just selling the rest of my cars. That should net me a few grand. I'm not going to sink it all in the Lude though.... I'm not that retarded.

I'm going to school, so I only had to pay for 1/3 of my tuition. I worked 60 hours a week over the summer to pay that off and to give myself some spending money. Now I work about 10 hours a week to pay for alcohol and parts. Oh yeah, selling all of the old audio equipment out of my old civic helped also.

well, not sure about everyone else but once you're out of school like i've been for a few years you can afford some of the luxuries.

went the turbo route on my h22a accord so i'm going all motor with the prelude.

gotta get the car on the dyno to tune the field's. putting on my next apexi with straight pipe. gonna get an iceman intake and change out the udnerhood.

waiting for the results of the smsp header. then skunk 2, here i come.
