Default OIL PRESSURE. how to check? HELP

How can i check oil pressure? I just swapped in a h22, and the oil light is on.

Well, the stock sender is located under the oil filter. Have you checked to make sure it is good?

Try swapping it with the sender from your H23 or F22. If you had a F22 I beleive the sender is located under the intake manifold, but above the oil filter. The H23 is in the same location as the H22.

Ok..so try using the sending unit from the h23...ok ill try that too.. Thanks Guys....

As for the oil pressure gauage...hwo do you hook that up to a stock caR?

Hooked mine up by teeing off the stock sender location. Purchased some fittings so I could run a SS line to the firewall and connect it to a "T" fitting. Put the stock sender on one side of the "T", and the gauge sender on the other.

Just remember that the stock threads are BSPT and most aftermarket gauges use NPT. So, you will have to by adapter fittings that change between the two.
