Oil Light problems PLZ HELP!!
I have a f22a 1994 hond prelude and the other day a friend ran the front end in a ditch and the dash light went out, but came back on fine. The oil light started flickering a few days ago when the car warms up and then it comes on when my rpms drop, then it will stay on, then when i give it gas it blinks no stop till i cut my car off. No oil leak, plenty of oil just changed it 2 weeks ago. I cant firgure it out plz help me!!!! No real problems with it but i love this car and any problems bother the hell out of me.

Which dash light went out? All of them? Might have jerked a connection loose if he ditched it and the lights flickered around. Is the oil light the only one blinking and going on and off?

It's not fitting to complain about reliability problems for a car you take absolute **** care of.

Yeah just the oil light now the others dont go out anymore, it only happens after the car warms up and then i come to a stop, then it will blink after. I dont really know how to check the connection because im am very new to car stuff

Check the connection at the oil pressure sender, not sure of the location
on a f22 but it is likely near the oil filter, either above it or below it.

oil pump or a sensor is my guess. your "friend" should pay a mechanic to check it out since you don't know what to look for.

either you bent the pan restricting flow into the pickup or when you went into the ditch all the oil sloshed away from the pickup due to the angle of the car.

If the sensor is ok you're going to ruin the engine if it's not already, by continuing to drive it. Inspect the oil pan, it's probably dented around the pickup like others have pointed out.
