Default Oil Light

Recently I have noticed that my oil light turns on when the car is at idle and at operating temperature. For example I will be sitting at a red light waiting for the green light and notice that all of the sudden my RPM drops a bit (from 800 to about ~600) and my oil light goes on. Sometimes it goes off and sometimes it just stays on until I began giving some gas and raising the RPM and the light goes off.

I have checked my oil level and I have the correct amount of oil. I am suspecting that maybe my bearing clearances have widened too much and I am losing oil pressure at idle, is that even possible or am I just talking crazy? The car/engine has 183,331 miles on it.

This is on a 5th Gen, H22 5spd Prelude.

Thanks,
