Default 92-96 & 97-01 header compatability

Yes i know the vtecs have the same flanges, but is the lower pipe the same length between the models? I was looking at a photo of the 5 gen and it seems shorter. Can anyone confirm this?

the aftermarket ones work perfectly. Same with intakes. I have a 5th gen header and 5th gen intake in my 4th gen right now. Sold and installed a 4th gen header and 4th gen intake to a guy with a 5th gen and it worked fine. These are aftermarket though, but i would think stock would be very similar.

I can say for sure that Greddy 4th gen headers will NOT fit straight up to the cat. I believe it's a couple of inches short. Just a heads up!

Thats what I was thinking. I was actually going to do the opposite put a 5 gen header in a BB1. I figured the collector would have to be extended. But for the cost of that might as well get the right part. Thanks.
