Official Md23vtec vs Oaksracing thread

Re: (l2yanE)
Seen Oak's car run once here in Denver, and for those who haven't seen/heard a 10 sec prelude it is amazing! I hope he gets the issues he had worked out and can run the car consistently next year, and yeah it would be awesome to see both(or more) run against each other if it could be arranged. Heck if it will happen and I have a new motor in since I just blew my H23, I will drive out with the oak's crew for the event.

Re: (md23vtec)
I had a very long post and just deleted most of it.
We enjoyed displaying the Prelude at the Sema show. It was a choice to race at Pomona or Sema and we chose Sema.
The past 4 years with this prelude project have brought us the biggest highs and lows a person can ever experiance. It is nice to see all the high horsepower ludes being built.
We did some testing last month on some back roads and feel we have things worked out. We will see what we can work out to get these cars together. Next year we will not be spinning the first half of the track.

You didn't need to delete the long post it would bring more insight to the thread . I am sure everybody would enjoy it.
I have the 60ft down and the 330 is decent but still needs to be worked on I am staying with the moderate boost I am running untill I get the ET to match the MPH a little better. From going from 11.37 @ 124 on 13 psi to 10.94 @ 138 on 14 and 19-20 to me is not doing anything special I should be able to go atleast 10.65 if not faster @ 138.97.
This season I am going to focus on dialing in the boost and making the car work better instead of trying to please everybody and run 10's thats done so now its time to do it the "right way"
We defiantly need to try and get ours cars together
