i just got some obx stage one cams and a radial vavle job i have ebay intake hp racing headers and a n1 muffler they said to put about 500-1000 miles on my car b4 i race but my hb with a h23 lude was talkin **** and i had about 200 miles on it so i was like what ever lets go wint to a empty place and had a go at it he was about a car in half up cuz we started at a 20 and he pulled untill i finshed 3rd did i catch him im thinkin my car should b a lil faster than that hes got a ebay intake and n1 muffler could it b cuz my car is untuned or mabe he messed up on my valve job?

there is a guy on that has stage 1's and he pull some really good numbers with them.i think his name is matix.

 

so can any one answer my ? the headers were free and im gettin my car piped soon. and yes obx stuff suks but the cams are just skunk 2 knock offs y pay 700 or more dollars when u could get the same thing for half. and my cars a 99 h22 base 5 spd

Did you tune the cams? You can't do any engine mods without tuning. It's a waste of money and a risk to blow your engine. Also, check out spell check, or go back to school. Some of the people that frequent this site are nerds for grammar. It makes Honda-Tech classy.

Actually buddy dont bash before you know for a fact its junk. Ive been on a 200+ whp tune with my obx stage 1 cams for about 7-8k miles now with no problems at all. This guy probably screwed something up with the install,timing,or not tuned.

thank u thats y i decided to go with obx cams! if it wasnt for matrix dyno i would have never got them so im pretty sure spending 700 dollars for the same thing wouldnt have changed things. i haven't had time to tune them yet i was gonna get it piped first. so would that fix things?
