Looks like I have to replace my O2 sensor and hondas price for the part is not looking attractive...anyways what are some of your guys opinions on using universal ones or even ones from ebay? Ones on ebay say they are denso and about half price?

If you're looking for the front only, you want the OE identical sensor 234-4621 for $38.41.

The difference between the classes is that the OE identical snesor comes with a new connector so that you don't have to do any wire splicing. You just unplug the old one and plug the new one in.

Just curious, but anyone think I should replace my O2 sensor, even if I don't have a check engine light? To my knowledge, the sensor has 177k on it

If you really are getting high 20 to low 30's on mileage and you have no CEL or driveability problems, you don't need to change your 02 sensor.

where is the rear O2 sensor located and how can i replace it? someone suggested to try cleaning it with carburator cleaner first..my check engine light came on they told me it was because of it but they wanted to charge me $200+ for it..why is it so pricy when i can find one online for a mere $40 bucks?

I have heard that unless you have a cel for the second sensor you don't need to replace it b/c it will not improve your mpg. The primary o2 can really affect your mpg and it's only 40 bucks at sparkplugs.com (oe denso)
