Not Understanding ABS Codes

My ABS light came on for the first time. I jumped the connector and got one pulse, pause, three pulses, pause, four pulses with a short pause then eight pulses. Does that mean the first one is pump over-run, and the last one is LR speed sensor? No idea what a stand alone three is, unless it's actually 1-3: high pressure leak. I'll probably clear it and see what comes back. I have noticed in the past year the pump primes more often, and takes longer to prime than it used to
you have long pulses and short pulses. long pulses are 10s, short pulses 1s. each code is separated by pauses. so, in your case, if the one pulse was a long pulse, that code is 13 if there wasn't a long pause and the next three pulses were short. if the four pulses were long pulses, you have 48 if there wasn't a long pause and the next eitht pulses were short. if all pulses were long, you have 10, 30, 40, 80. if all were short, you have 1, 3, 4, 8.
I hope that was thorough enough.

That's for engine codes. ABS codes are seperated into main and sub system codes with all pulses at the same speed (see Helms 19-55)
i'm probably wrong, but i remember pulling ABS codes. i am almost certain they were exactly like engine codes with the pulses.
