Hi all. Newb here with a question on how to read the abs codes. I am working on a 1999 cl 2.3 with an ABS light that won't go off. I tried removing the ABS fuse to clear the codes, but as soon as the car is started, the light is back on. After finding the DTC connector, I jumped the connector and turned the key on and got the following reponse: five short flashes, long pause, 8 long, slow flashes, long pause, 8 long slow flashes, long pause, 1 short flash, repeat. I can't make any sense of the coding. From what I understand from the helms manual, the codes should come as a series of short flashes for the main code, then a second set of short flashes for the subcode. Am I right? Thanks.
