Noisy Engine and DIzzy noises
Many people have told me "hey, your engine is Loud!"
I hear a Dice being shaken inside my valve cover. My distributor has a similar noise.
What to do?
1. Valve adjustment? $50
2. New Dizzy? $xxx
These are 2 options I am thinkin'. What do you guys suggest? Could it be I shift around 5k rmps? My mechanic says someone has been driving this too hard.
What else can it be? Lobes? Valve relate?

I would first do a valve adjustment. Make sure to check them twice before buttoning everything up.
Shifting at 5krpm wouldn't do much unless you were always low on oil.
do the valve adjustment then go from there.

i had the same problem. It turned out the bearing in my dizzy was busted causing it to sound like grinding or dice being shakin around. Take the dizzy off and see if there is any play in the bearing.
Thanks guys, My car is due for a Valve Adjustment at 146k miles now. I'll see if the bearing is bad and go to honda and pick up a bearing. And cut off my left pinky finger and hand it to them.
Taking out my A/C system this week, Compressor died, eh~ weight reduction. It's winter now anyhoo.
