if you use this filter for the dry setup, it is probably going to be further than 18 inches from the TB unless it is a really short ram intake. Unless the airfilter is just a sales gimick I don't think the nitrous will loose its effectiveness if sprayed too far from the TB.

this is a nice setup...im working on one which ill have in in a couple weeks. ill post pics up when done. I hear everyone saying when you go direct port you need to plumb the nozzles into the secondary butterfly spacer or the bottom of manifold.

i actually did peice together the kit. It ended up costing me around 410.00 so far..not counting new intake manifold gasket and small stuff that may come up. the kit goes thru summit for 560.00. I bought all NOS parts thru ebay..new parts only...you would be amazed how much you save...I bought each solenoid for $25.00-$30.00each...and parts from my friends shop DNR Performance.

LOL hahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahaha

that is some funny comment.
ludefreak that picture there is of my car's NOS dry setup.

NX dude you were right 'bout it being a dry setup but the right solenoid opens first letting the n2o pressure raise the fuel pressure. then the second solenoid opens when a fuel pressure switch 'senses' the higher pressure. click to look at picture, it might make more sense.

Unless there is a catastrophic failure of a system component or an OPERATOR ERROR you wont hurt anything....

I will always believe a wet kit is a little safer.....Not that other kits are in any way bad, I just have reasons for likeing wet kits....
