Default Re: (CGags13)

thought id chime in because i a new nitrous user ( thanks cgags for the strong motor thus far )

neways... I find it hilarious that every person that has never run nitrous... is against it... They think that it is like Fast and the Furious and is gonna blow the welds on the intake... or something fuckd up... But any person that owns/uses nitrous Loves it!

But really, I think of it just as any other FI. Be safe, and conservative and you should be alright... There will ALWAYS be the guy that blows his motor up, well theres usually a reason... might not be the nitrous fault, may be the nitrous installer/driver/tuner/h22block

Anways my point is this... You have to be just as smart w/ nitrous as you do supercharging/turbo... Whoever gave the impression to people that you can just install it and go, is wrong...

Its not like you see many people w/ turbo kits w/o a BOV, or w/o larger injectors

correct dark bb4 i belive nitrous is not something you just bolt up and go, precautions must be taken just like you would with turbo or any other form of forced induction. you wouldn't turbo your car without biger injectors just like you wouldn't run nitrous without the proper steps. don't rush it, but also have fun.
