new problem
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So lately my car has been bogging a little at lower rpm. and the other day i was very low on gas then the next morning i went to go get gas got in my car tried starting it. started right away then died so i just assumed i was out of gas went to the gas station to get a gas can. they wanted 12.00 bucks for a 2 gallon can said **** it went home tried again it started right away and stayed on. went and got gas everything was cool. still noticed it was bogging a little so i went and got some injector cleaner and got more gas then the next day at work was ready to go home and started the car would barely stay on when stepping on the gas would just bog completely and it smelled rich as can be left my car at work and now today it wont even start so im thinking it is the fuel pump or filter any insight would be helpful thank you.
So finally got the filter in correctly last night also changed plugs and noticed there was a little corrosion on the plug ends from the wires. but when all said in done got in tried starting it started right up let it run for a bit died again. then tried again started right up and ran let it run for 10 mins then drove it around my neighbor hood and it ran smoother then before it ran very good not a problem at all. this morning went to go warm the car up becuase it is always around 20 degrees at night here in winter went to crank it nothing went to crank again started was idling nice. went back to my house looked o utside no condensation smoke coming out went out it had died. went to try and start again would just turn over real quick then die and then eventually wouldnt even start just crank. so please any help guys any at all thank you so much

so im trying to think logical. i have flow from the pump the filter is new and its flowing otherwise i wouldnt have been able to drive it last night. so im thinking there could be corrosion in my dizzy and its not firing all the way when it needs too just a little enough for it to try and get started so seing as how there was corrosion in my wires and on my plugs there should be some corrosion in the cap so tomorrow im going to pull it off and see. let me know if you guys have any more ideas i mean last case could be injectors maybe slight slight chance my ecu but i highly doubt that
Sounds ignition related to me. Cap/rotor/plug wires replace them all, esp if you see corrosion. They aren't that espensive, and good to replace if it hasn't been done. If the problem persists, it might have something to do with the tdc/crank sensor inside the distributor, which means a new distributor.
