looks great man, I know someone who has been talking about doing this forever, good to know that it works, and that I get to help on the same project. Good job, and props to the community for chipping in for dyno money, that freakin rocks!

Chris who runs the dyno has strep throat so that is why he has been hard to get a hold of but I now have an appointment for Thrusday. Numbers will be posted accordingly.

Awesome... I can't wait to see the numbers... I'm getting ready to pull my spun h23 block out and then i need to switch trannies and drop in the new motor (f23 w/h22 head)... Then install the turbo parts and get it tuned... Originally i was going to have it tuned by Mase but i don't really have the time for that so im probably gonna go to one of the local tuners like Titan motorsports... I can't wait to see the results from the dyno... Awesome work Pirate...

I think that it is kind of ironic that Chris got sick.. I asked him last week before the Halloween track day if I could get some sort of deal to get it fine tuned before the track. He quoted me his usual rates and said that I could wait for a dyno drag that *might* happen at the end of the month. I understand that he is running a business and that he has bills just like I do, but still it is a little funny.

I can't either but I will have to. I remember SUB-0 H23's PRE-Crower st. 1 cam dyno and he made 148 torque. His setup was almost stock and high mileage. Then the Crower dyno he got another 10 ft/lbs from a stage one and 13* timing. The stage ones only had a little more duration and about .050" more lift. I wonder what a stage 2 would do.

So I am running a bunch more compression and 50cc's more displacement with a decent I/H/E so I am hoping for 160+ torque that will carry to at least 5000rpm. But if it is a huge let-down I might get some Crowers. Maybe I can get an advance on Christmas gifts for RM springs/retainers. hmmmm...

Back from page 4...Well it has been dynoed... and I will tease you with only a little info...

MORE TORQUE THAN HORSEPOWER!!. I beat Satan_SRV's Torque numbers FWIW. Not bad for a pile of random parts slapped together.

I will post the numbers later this afternoon when I get it all the Pics hosted.

Setup:
Hybrid engine @ 2.3 liter
STOCK CAMS
DC H23 header
Testpipe
2.25" crush bent exhaust (dyno proven to rob my old H22 of 5 ftlbs of torque)
3" generic Ebay intake and filter
No PS
No balance shaft belt
15* timing at idle
91 Octane
Prelude Si tranny
17X7 ssr forged wheels
IAB functional

hee hee man this is sweet...

look into Acura RSX pistons I think that they might be compatable. But do not just take my word for it.
