Hey everyone I am planning to purchase a 96' Volkswagon GTI VR6 in a few days. It has a few mods done to it already. Anyone have one and want to share experiences? Also do you know how fast they are, 1/4 mile? It has 74k on it Thanks everyone

 

seems like a nice car. but...why is this in the HONDA-TECH Prelude forum? not falming, just a questjion

 

My friend's taurus SHO raced one up till 140 mph and the turbo in the golf spooled up real quick and beat my friend by like 4 car lengths in the end. the golf turbos are fast but i doubt its barely any faster than a vtec prelude.

oh yea, you guys prolly think that a taurus racing is ridiculous but the SHO's are fast when modified...yamaha engines.

Its a non turbo 2.8 liter V6. I sold the prelude about 3 months ago, driving a camaro Z28 now with some mods. my dad is going to buy the Z28 off me and i'm going to be saving for Z06 vette
