My cousin has a 97 lude sh...... somethings screwed up with his auto slash 4 spd tranny, the fluid is boiling. Anywhoose its throwing a check engine light and I can't find the connector to pull the codes out. Any ideas, thanx

right of the gas pedal

 

The tranny is whining, when you put it into gear it seems to take forever, about two - four seconds to grab a gear. The codes I got were 15 which I think it said was a mainshaft sensor, i.e. the whining, and 25 2nd clutch lock up delayed, which would explain the stall b/w gears. Has anyone had problems with these trannys, is this one shot? Need help

thought it was sh ne ways , not much of a lude guy. you guys know roughly how much these trannies go for

 

not sure how much an auto tranny costs, but the rebuilt ones from honda cost quite a lot..best bet is to go to a junkyard or look on ebay.
