A buddy of mine has has the same swap I have, a JDMh22a. Problem is that he believes that his rod bearings are bad...he tells me to listen..I listen..I don't hear.

What are tell tale signs of bearings on the fail?

What is the going rate of a shop to Balance/Micropolish the crank and re-install new bearings?

I've called around on the price, i'm basically trying to see if the number their shooting is to high or if it's on the Nice n' low side.
