Default Need Help apexi n1 cat back

I got an injen sri, apexi n1 cat-back.. and it is pretty damn loud and has really deep sound to it. since i put n1, the racy(kinda raspy sound?) sound i used to have is gone. now its just lound and deeeeeep. does anyone know how to make it sound bette or is it possible to make it better at this point? should i change or work on my downpipe?
one more question.. does n1 eats up the torque?
thx

It's a good thing that your raspy sound is gone. I would take loud and deep over raspy anyday. It is said that the Apex'i N1 cat-back exhaust system robs little power in lower RPMs and adds some power over stock at higher RPMs. If you're tuned, you'll see positive results all over the torque band. I'm a fan of loud and deep, so my opinion will be biased from the rest. Do as you like, but it was a nice move to go from raspy to deep.

if you pipe the cat it will be louder but i like the way it sounds and depending on who you talk to they will say you either gain or lose hp because of the whole back pressure thing. but i personally dont think that it will make that big of a difference.
