I was driving my 97 Honda prelude last night and giving it some gas in 5th gear to go from about 58 to only 65 so i wasnt pedal to the floor when BAM all of a sudden my engine is shaking horribly and my exhaust is louder then hell and my check engine light is on, i was going to get a 3000 mile oil change today and the car has 157,xxx miles on it, does anyone know what could be wrong????

well did you stop and try starting it again and seeing if the problem is still there. have you check under the hood. be more specific.
